* FULL DISCLOSURE * After spending more than 10K on Repairs, Maintenance and Upgrades since I purchased this beauty last summer, the Starboard Engine just threw a piston rod through the oil pan in February and requires a replacement engine block. I have quotes between 8.3K and 8.8K for a complete re-manufactured Long Block, installed. The new exhaust manifolds, elbows and risers that were installed last year, and have only 30 hours, can be re-installed on the replacement engine, and this is included in the quotes I have. Im moving in April else Id fix-it and keep it, because its a great, fast boat, and economical with todays low gasoline prices. You wont find another 98 vessel in as good condition as this. Ive priced it to reflect and allow for the cost of the engine replacement, in a worst case scenario, and then some. If this mechanical mishap didnt just happen, the asking price would be in the mid-30Ks, and well worth-it. Broker cooperation. Im taking a bath on this because Im moving. My substantial loss is your good fortune. Lets make a deal!
